At Saxon Care, we provide Home Care & Support, also known as Domiciliary Care.
Saxon Care provides a bespoke visiting home care service, to offer a little extra support; allowing you to continue living independently in your own home.
The service is extremely flexible – our Saxon Care Assistants can visit once a week, or up to several visits a day throughout the week, depending on what is needed. We understand the importance of continuity, and depending on your requirements, there may be two or three Saxon Care Assistants who will visit on a rota basis.

More information and FAQs
Home care is support provided in your own home to help you stay independent, safe, and comfortable. Instead of moving into a care home, trained carers visit you at home to help with things like personal care, medication, meals, mobility, or companionship, whatever you need to live well day‑to‑day.
How it works:
- You choose the support you need — from a quick daily visit to round‑the‑clock care.
- A personalised care plan is created based on your routines, preferences, and goals.
- Professional carers come to your home at agreed times to provide friendly, one‑to‑one support.
- You’ll see the same small team, helping you build trust, comfort, and confidence.
- Your care can change anytime, giving you flexibility as your needs evolve.
Home care is designed to feel natural and reassuring, helping you stay where you feel happiest, surrounded by the people, memories, and comforts that matter most.
Home care may be the right choice if you or your loved one want to stay independent and safe at home but need extra support with daily tasks, health needs, or companionship. Many families choose home care because it offers flexible, personalised support without the need to move into a residential care home.
You might benefit from home care if you are experiencing:
- Difficulties with daily tasks such as washing, dressing, preparing meals, or keeping on top of the housework.
- Mobility challenges or a higher risk of falls.
- Loneliness or isolation, and would benefit from regular companionship.
- Health conditions like dementia, Parkinson’s, or long‑term illness that require routine support.
- A recent hospital stay, and need help while recovering at home.
- Family carers who need respite, support, or a break.
Home care allows you to stay in familiar surroundings, maintain your routines, and receive one‑to‑one support from trained carers who get to know you well. Support is flexible, meaning you can start with just a few hours a week and increase or reduce help as your needs change.
If you’re unsure where to begin, Saxon Care offers a free, no‑obligation assessment to help you understand what type of support might work best.
